Lady Marauder SoCCCer History and Records

3 State Championships, 10 Regional Titles, 15 District Championships

The CCC Lady Marauder Soccer program dates back to 1982, when head coach Kathy Daily fielded the first girls team at CCC. It didn't take long for the CCC Tradition of excellence to emerge. In the first year CCC posted a winning record 7 - 6 - 0. In the programs fourth year (1985) CCC, seeded 9th in their district, upset number 1 seed (and 1984 State Finalist) Largo, in the first round of Districts. Although CCC didn't win the district championships that year, the tone had been set and the soccer community was put on notice that a new power was emerging in Pinellas County! Coach Daily's teams posted a combined 24 - 18 - 6 record, with a winning record in each of the programs first four years.

The CCC winning tradition blossomed under Coaches Ellie and George Sabol. In the 1988 - 89 season, CCC made its first appearance on the State Poll, climbing as high as number 2 during the season. That year saw the first victory over powerhouse Seminole during the Christmas Tournament and resulted in the First District Championship for the Lady Marauder Program. This first Championship was followed with another District Championship in 1990. The first of what was to become a familiar sight in the Soccer Community - CCC posting back to back District Championships! The combined record for Coaches Sabol was an impressive 75 - 13 - 1.

Coach Randy Buckstein took over the helm in 1991 and led the Marauders into the 1999 - 2000 season. During Randys' 9 year tenure the Lady Marauders garnered 8 District Championships, 5 Regional Championships, One State Finalist and 3 State Championships. During this time frame the Marauder Soccer Program emerged as one of the leading soccer programs, not only in Pinellas County, but in the State of Florida as well as Nationally.

When current Coach Tom Typrowicz moved into the head coaching role in early 2000, he respected the CCC tradition and immediately added to the CCC mystic.

In the seven years that Coach Typrowicz has been guiding the team, the team has made five State Final Four appearances, winning five District Championship and five Regional Championships.

Coming into the 2006 - 2007 Season, Coach T. has amassed a combined 137 - 32 - 15 record.
